Translator’s Note: The Masturbation Day joke is a difficult one to translate, if not impossible. The reason Kohta comes up with it is rooted in how the Japanese make words out of numbers. In this case, July 21st. In numbers that would be 0721, and if we took the first syllable (using 0 as “o”) of each number’s Japanese word, we would end up with onani- (that dash being the kanji for 1, but used as a vowel lengthener here). Onani- is the Japanese word for Masturbation. There you have it. The joke explained.
