Well if you’re here you may or may not have noticed we have a new site and proper domain now. Update your bookmarks to http://straysscans.net or you won’t be able to get to us again as of Sunday!
Report any broken links on pages after Sept. 2007 in this post. Anything before then I haven’t bothered to fix yet. All links should be fixed, report broken ones here.
edit: We were not directly responsible for MU’s complete purge of our series. I informed them that they needed to update the links changing strays.vnmanga.com to straysscans.net or purge them, they chose to purge them.

Well, I’m glad that you are continuing your work. And I really took a liking in Jackals, and if I’m left without Vagabond I will die.

As a Vagabond fan, I was dazzled when you guys stopped releasing Vagabond (your namesake’s series) and instead went for low-quality half-assed hentai like My Balls. Months passed and eventually others picked up were you left. I still had hopes for Strays, but the time has eaten it all. Well, I think I got it wrong, as the more “popular” trash manga like My balls got you too busy for real manga. At least I can take this as a consolation:

I’m no fan of FH, but the point is made: now you don’t even have that piece of crap. Change your name, or prove me wrong. Either is fine.
personally I like many of the series you have picked up Jackals especially, though vagabond is one of my favorite mangas I’m looking forward to the releases you put out later
Listen here, since you seem to be unable to read. WE DO NOT HAVE A TRANSLATOR FOR VAGABOND. IF YOU WISH TO READ FURTHER CHAPTERS OF VAGABOND FIND US A FUCKING TRANSLATOR.
This is not that fucking complex an issue. I’m also not going to change our name or release a bunch of chapters just because leech who doesn’t even have the balls to use a real name or email address tells us to.
edit: and it’s not like nobody’s working on them. There’s 6 or 7 chapters waiting for translations, ready otherwise.

Photoshop is all you need for everything we do. Not even that if you translate.
Maybe i could apply for a cleaner position… can you tell me which tools inside photoshop i should use? or at least a quick guide in photoshop to clean pages?

The brush, a new layer, and nothing else. Redraws you will need other tools but really you don’t need anything but the brush for basic cleaning.
hi Strays, I’d like to scanl the last chapters of KoT – can you link me to any translations or a translator that is willing to do the last volume? We can do it as a collaboration or in some other acceptable way.
Please answer whether you’re interested or not cause if you’re not, and you’re not planning to scanlate it soon, I’ll try my luck by posting a request for a translation on MH. You can contact me on the e-mail I provided, too.
Jammer we already have cleans and translations but I really doubt you will find a translator willing to do a series that has already been licensed and fully released in english.

well, would you mind making the translations public then, if you’re not going to use them for scanlations – AFAIK license counts only for the same type of media – i.e. if you’re going to release in manga format and just the text-only translation it’s not a problem
this way people (like myself-> buying a few manga volumes is quite the luxury, and I not mean because of the crisis or shit, there are countries where this is just not an option) could have some way of seeing how the series ends (and yeah, sorry for getting so … erm “social” here >.<)
We just need someone to QC it, also proofs. Ballzy and Luco intend on finishing it as far as I know.

Hopefully nothing bad happened.
This was almost a year ago.
Like 500 wordpress blogs that weren’t updated got hacked, we basically lost all the backend stuff and we had to restore it with really old backups. Nobody obviously noticed.
Well, that’s good to know that you guys didn’t permanently lose everything and had to start all over.

You could go buy a new mouse? I thought they weren’t that expensive. You should be able to get a decent one for about $20 ~ $30.
i had no idea you needed cleaners/QC for my balls. that’s right i had no idea my balls needed cleaning. I have the skillz but not the time.. curses. I wish you luck. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen my balls and quite frankly I miss it.
